The Irish squash national team is the cadre of the Irish Squash Federation ( Irish Cónaidhm Scuaise na hÉireann ). In it, there are Irish and Northern Irish athletes again, which as well as nationally and internationally, the island both in single team competitions Squash Sports represent.

history

Men's

Ireland has participated in every World Cup since 1979 . In their debut Ireland reached 10th place, which was the team's best performance at a World Cup to date. In 1983 , 1993 and 2001 Ireland also came in 10th.

Ireland was successful at the European Championships , which have been held annually since 1973. The first podium came in 1973 in Edinburgh with third place. In 1974 the team repeated this success, also in 1981 and 1982. In the years 1975 to 1977 and 1979 and 1984 Ireland finished the tournament in fourth place.
