The two best teams advanced to the semifinals. In the second-class Division 2, the men competed a total of eleven teams in three groups of three and one group of two. The group first and second met in a knockout round and determined the two promoted teams in Division 1. The two weakest teams in Division 1 were relegated in return, the women the promotion and relegation mode was equivalent. The women's division 2 consisted of six teams that competed against each other in round robin mode. At the tournament all places were played out.

All teams consisted of at least three (women) or four (men) and a maximum of four or six players who had to be reported in the order of their skill level.
