European squash team championship 1974
The European Team Championship for Men 1974 in squash place from 1 to 4 May 1974 in Stockholm , Sweden instead. A total of twelve teams competed in the 2nd edition of the championship.
The participating teams competed in two groups. Within the groups, round-robin mode was used , the two runners -up played a game for third place, and the two group winners made it to the final. The teams consisted of five players. In the final England met Scotland and won 5-0. The English squad included Philip Ayton , Peter Verow , Paul Millman , Ian Nuttall and Michael Thurgur . Ireland was third ahead of Wales .
