The Dutch squash national team is the entirety of the squash squash federation Squash Bond Nederland . In it you will find Dutch athletes who represent their country in both individual and team competitions nationally and internationally in squash .

history

Men's

The Netherlands took part in a world championship for the first time in 1981 and finished the tournament in 15th place. After not starting in 1983 , the Netherlands have participated in every finals since then. The team achieved the best result in 1991 when they finished sixth, the worst was a 19th place at the 1999 World Cup .

The Netherlands were far more successful at the European championships that have been held annually since 1973. In 1983, 1985 and 1991 the team reached the semi-finals and finished the tournament in fourth place. Between 2002 and 2011, the team had also always reached at least the semi-finals. In 2005, 2006, 2008 and 2010 she finished third after a semi-final defeat , and in 2007 she made it into the final for the only time so far, where she lost 4-0 to England . The 2007 squad included Laurens Jan Anjema , Lucas Buit , Dylan Bennett , Tom Hoevenaars and Sebastiaan Weenink .
