1973 European squash team championship

The European Team Championship for Men 1973 in squash was from 27 to 30 April 1973 in Edinburgh , Scotland , instead. A total of ten teams competed in the first edition of the championship.

The participating teams competed in two groups. Within the groups, round-robin mode was used , the two runners -up played a game for third place, and the two group winners made it to the final. The teams consisted of five players. In the final England met Scotland and won 5-0. The English roster included Philip Ayton , Paul Millman , Bryan Patterson , Stuart Courtney and John Easter . Ireland was third ahead of Wales .
