history

It is not known when Dorotheenthal was created. Around 1870 Dorotheenthal formed a settlement ("Colonie") in the manor district of the Blankenhagen manor . At that time there were 52 houses in which 298 people lived in 55 households. The livestock was 6 horses, 76 cattle and 135 sheep.

Dorotheenthal later formed its own rural community in the Regenwalde district of the Pomeranian province . In 1933 203 inhabitants were counted in the municipality, in 1939 201 inhabitants. Apart from Dorotheenthal, there were no other places to live in the community.

In 1945 Dorotheenthal came to Poland, as did all of Western Pomerania. The place was given the Polish name "Sarnikierz".
