NFL

St. Louis Rams

In the 2011 NFL draft , Greco was selected by the St. Louis Rams in the third round as the 65th player. In his first season he only started one game. In total, he came to nine games on the position of the right guard . In his three years with the Rams he played 26 games, of which he started four.

Cleveland Browns

On July 31, 2011, the Rams Greco transferred for a conditional seven-round pick in the 2012 NFL Draft to the Cleveland Browns . The Browns did not have to hand over the pick, however, as Greco did not start a game and only played 52 snaps. In his second season for the Browns Greco started in ten games on the position of the left guard, after an injury to Jason Pinkston, who was actually playing in this position . He also played every snap in his first nine starts. Due to his good performance as a replacement for Pinkston, he received a five-year contract with the Browns on July 23, 2013. In 2014 he played for the first time in his NFL career on the position of the center , after an injury to the actual center Alex Mack on the fifth day of the game. He also started all 16 games this season for the first time in his career.

In 2015 he started the first 14 games as a right guard for the Browns before he was placed on the injured reserve list with a knee injury . In 2016 he was able to start 12 games in a season that ended prematurely due to injuries. He started ten games as right guard, two as center. Greco was one of the better players in a bad Browns offensive line. Out of a total of 66 sacks , only four Greco counted. He was released on September 2, 2017.

New Orleans Saints

On October 4, 2017, Greco was signed by the New Orleans Saints . He was released on November 8th without ever being used.

New York Giants

Just days later, he was signed by the New York Giants . He played 105 snaps in six games for the Giants. After the season, his contract was extended for a year. From the third game day in his second season for the Giants, Greco started as a center. After five games he was replaced as the center by Spencer Pulley and instead started as the right guard. After two games, however, he was replaced in this position and was then only used as a backup. After the 2018 season , he became a free agent.
