Javon Alexander "Alex" Mack (* 19th November 1985 in Los Angeles , California ) is an American American football poker players on the position of the center . He plays with the Atlanta Falcons in the National Football League (NFL) and was previously active for the Cleveland Browns .

college

Mack attended the University of California, Berkeley and played for their team, the Golden Bears, successful college football , where he held various positions on the offensive line . He has received numerous awards, both for his athletic and academic achievements.

Cleveland Browns

In the NFL Draft 2009 he was selected in the 1st round as a total of 21 players by the Cleveland Browns and was able to establish himself there immediately. Already in his rookie year he played as a starting center in all games . In his second season he was appointed to the Pro Bowl for the first time . Further nominations followed in 2014 and 2015.

In Bye Week 2011, he underwent appendectomy and was back on the field for the next game.

In the sixth match of the 2014 season, he broke his fibula and was out for the rest of the season. Up to this point he had played 80 games en suite and carried out every single snap of the Browns.

Atlanta Falcons

After his contract had expired at the Browns, Mack signed on March 9, 2016, five-year contract over 45 million US dollars for the Atlanta Falcons . In his first season for the Falcons, he was elected to the Pro Bowl for the fourth time. He also reached the Super Bowl LI with Falcons , which was lost 28:34 against the New England Patriots . Mack played the game completely, despite a broken fibula he was diagnosed with. He was also elected to the Pro Bowl after the 2017 and 2018 seasons .
