Cordarrelle Patterson (* 17th March 1991 in Rock Hill , South Carolina ) is an American American football poker players on the position of wide receiver and return Specialists . Patterson moved to the University of Tennessee and played another year for the Tennessee Volunteers , scoring a total of ten touchdowns .

NFL

Minnesota Vikings

Patterson was selected by the Minnesota Vikings as the 29th player in the 2013 NFL Draft in the first round . The Vikings swapped their second, third, fourth and seventh round picks for the New England Patriots' first round pick in order to move forward and select it. He immediately established himself as a professional and was mainly used as a returner. In the game against the Green Bay Packers , he managed a kickoff return over 109 yards, the longest possible distance. In addition, he was called up as a receiver in all games in his rookie season , six times even as a starter . For his consistently good performance, he was appointed to the Pro Bowl .

In 2014 the Vikings got a new support team and Patterson got less playing time in the offense , but it was impossible to imagine the special teams without them. In 2016 he received his second nomination for the Pro Bowl.

Oakland Raiders

In March 2019, Patterson signed a two-year deal for $ 10 million with the Bears. In week 7 he managed a 102 yard kickoff return touchdown in the 25:36 loss to the New Orleans Saints. For his performance in November, he was named NFC Special Teams Player of the Month for the second time in his career. In December he was selected as a starter in the Pro Bowl 2020.
