Brian Schwenke Max Jr. (* 22. March 1991 in Honolulu , Hawaii ) is a former American American Footballer in the National Football League (NFL). He played as a center for the Tennessee Titans and the New England Patriots , with whom he could win Super Bowl LIII .
college
Schwenke attended the University of California, Berkeley and played for their team, the Golden Bears, successfully college football , where he played a total of 48 games in various positions on the offensive line .
NFL
Tennessee Titans
In the 2013 NFL Draft , Schwenke was selected in the fourth round as a total of 107th by the Tennessee Titans . In his rookie season he was not used in the first 7 games, but was always a starter for the rest of the season . After having to end the season early in 2014 due to an injury, he was only able to play 5 games in 2015. In 2016 he was also called up as a left guard .
Indianapolis Colts
In March 2017 he was signed by the Indianapolis Colts , but released before the start of the regular season .
Return to the Titans
Just one day later, Schwenke found another place with his old team. At first he was only used in the special teams , and in the course of the season also in various positions in the offensive line.
New England Patriots
The New England Patriots signed panning just before the start of the 2018 season . As part of the final squad downsizing, he was dismissed, but immediately re-engaged. After suffering a foot injury, Schwenke was placed on the Injured Reserve List in early November 2018 .
After the end of the season, he first extended his contract in order to finally retire from active sport in the summer.
