Phillip Dorsett (* 5. January 1993 in Fort Lauderdale , Florida ) is an American American football poker players on the position of wide receiver . He plays for the Seattle Seahawks in the National Football League (NFL). In the 2015 NFL Draft , he was selected in the first round by the Indianapolis Colts and later played for the New England Patriots, among others .

Early years

Dorsett attended St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Fort Lauderdale , Florida , the place of his birth. He played for the school 's football team in high school, was considered an explosive and fast player, and was 45th in the wide receiver rankings for his age group of all high schools .

college

Dorsett never really lived up to the Colts' high expectations from the draft, neither in his rookie season nor in his second NFL season with the Colts in 2016 . He was able to show his talent far too rarely in the team and was transferred to the New England Patriots in exchange with quarterback Jacoby Brissett immediately before the 2017 season .

New England Patriots

In the New England Patriots , Dorsett came in his first year in the course of his explosiveness and speed for quarterback Tom Brady mainly as a pass station for deep balls to use.
