Atlantic Coast Conference
The Atlantic Coast Conference ( ACC ) is one of the oldest leagues in the NCAA Division I in US university sports .
It was founded in 1953 , a year before the Ivy League . It has twelve universities that compete against each other in 20 different sports. The most important is college football .
