Marshal John Yanda (* 15. September 1984 in Cedar Rapids , Iowa ) is a former American American football poker players. He played from 2007 to 2019 with the Baltimore Ravens in the National Football League (NFL) in the positions of offensive guard and offensive tackle . Yanda won Super Bowl XLVII with the Ravens and was elected to the Pro Bowl eight times .

Career

college

As a student, Yanda first played for the North Iowa Area Community College , then later for the much more prestigious University of Iowa in the Big Ten Conference College Football .

NFL

In the NFL Draft 2007 he was selected in the 3rd round as a total of 86th player by the Baltimore Ravens . Already in his rookie season he played for his team in different positions on the offensive line in all 16 games, 12 times as a starter . In 2011 he signed a five-year contract for 32 million dollars . In 2012 he won the Super Bowl XLVII with the Ravens . He has been called to the Pro Bowl every year since 2011 . On October 16, 2015, Yanda signed a new four-year contract for $ 32 million.
In 2017, the season for Yanda was over again after two games with a broken ankle.

After the 2019 season, Yanda ended his career.
