Kelechi Keith Ayo Osemele (* 24. June 1989 in Houston , Texas ) is an American American football poker players on the position of the Guards . He plays for the Kansas City Chiefs in the National Football League (NFL) and was previously active for the New York Jets , Oakland Raiders and Baltimore Ravens , with whom he won the Super Bowl XLVII .
college
Osemele attended Iowa State University and played for their team, the Cyclones, successfully college football between 2008 and 2011 , playing a total of 49 games. For his consistently good performance he was accepted into various selection teams.
NFL
Baltimore Ravens
In the NFL Draft 2012 he was selected in the 2nd round as a total of 60th player by the Baltimore Ravens . He was able to establish himself immediately and ran in his rookie year in all games as a starter , where he held different positions in the offensive line . After all, he and his team even won the Super Bowl XLVII . In 2013 he only played seven games because he had to undergo back surgery. He was also an integral part of the Ravens' O-Line for the next two seasons.
Oakland Raiders
2016 he signed with the Oakland Raiders a five-year contract for 60 million dollars . In the same year he was first elected to the Pro Bowl .
New York Jets
In March 2019, Osemele moved to the New York Jets. The Raiders traded him and a seven-round pick for a five-round pick.
Osemele was released from the jets on October 26, 2019 because of an operation on the shoulder that was not allowed by the team.
Kansas City Chiefs
In July 2020, Osemele signed a one-year contract with the Kansas City Chiefs .
