Erika Fritsche

Erika Fritsche (born October 5, 1956 in Aull ) is a German politician ( Greens ) and former member of the state parliament of Rhineland-Palatinate.

Life and work

After attending primary school in Aull and the Altendiez Association School, she attended a commercial vocational school in Limburg from 1971 to 1973 . This was followed by a business school in Limburg until 1976 . From 1976 to 1977 she was employed as a commercial clerk. After studying business administration until 1980 at the Rhineland-Palatinate University of Applied Sciences in Koblenz (graduation in business administration (University of Applied Sciences)), she worked as a civil servant at DBP Telekom from 1980 to 1991. She has been a civil servant at Deutsche Telekom AG since 1996 .

Political party

In 1980 she became a member of Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen.

Landtag Rhineland-Palatinate

Fritsche was elected to the Rhineland-Palatinate state parliament in the 1991 state election and was a member of it for an electoral period from May 21, 1991 to May 19, 1996. From March 22, 1995 until the end of the electoral term on May 19, 1996, she was Vice-President of the State Parliament. During the electoral term she was a member of the Council of Elders, the Committee on European Affairs, the Committee on Economics and Transport, and the Media Policy Committee.

Fritsche is a member of the Deutsche Postgilde (federal association of specialists and executives at Post and Telecom) and ver.di (Deutsche Postgewerkschaft).
