Baltimore Ravens

In the 2012 NFL Draft , Tucker was not selected by any of the 32 teams, but received a contract with the Baltimore Ravens on May 29, 2012 , where he should fight with Billy Cundiff for the starting place. After performing well in the preseason , he finally prevailed and Cundiff was fired. As a rookie , he showed himself to be a very precise kicker when he converted all of his 42 PATs and only missed three in 33 field goal attempts. On January 12, 2013 he succeeded in the Divisional Round Play-off game at the Denver Broncos in the second overtime the winning field goal from 47 yards, whereby the Ravens reached the AFC Championship Game for the second time in a row . In Super Bowl XLVII against the San Francisco 49ers , Tucker missed the first attempt at a fake field goal in Super Bowl history when he was only one yard short of first down. The Ravens still won 34–31.

Although he missed two field goals against the Cleveland Browns on the second day of the 2013 season , he showed consistently good performances over the entire season. In the 18–16 win against the Detroit Lions , he scored all points of his team with six converted field goals and set a Ravens franchise record with six converted field goals in one game . He also scored his longest field goal to date with 61 yards in this game. After the season he was voted into his first Pro Bowl and All-Pro .

After the 2015 season, the Ravens took Tucker with the franchise tag . In June 2016, he finally agreed a new four-year contract for $ 16.8 million with the Ravens, which made him the NFL's second-highest-paid kicker after Stephen Gostkowski .
