The Pro Bowl 2020 is the All-Star Game of the National Football League (NFL) in the 2019 season . It was played on January 26, 2020, a week before Super Bowl LIV , at Camping World Stadium in Orlando , Florida .
Rule changes
- As in previous editions of the Pro Bowl, there are no kickoffs . Until now, the opposing team automatically came into possession of the ball at their own 25-yard line (like after a touchback ) after scoring points . A new option, however, was introduced that the team that scored points may alternatively take a move from its own 25-yard line. At least 15 yards of space must be gained in order to maintain possession of the ball. Otherwise, the opposing team gets the ball at the point where the game ended. This game situation corresponds to a 4th down & 15 and serves as a substitute for an onside kick .
- The rules for a false start have been adjusted. A wide receiver may move one foot before the snap, as long as it stands still for a second before the snap.
