Davante Lavell Adams (* 24. December 1992 in Redwood City , California ) is an American American football poker players in the National Football League (NFL). He plays for the Green Bay Packers as a wide receiver .

college

Adams, who also showed excellent performance as a basketball player in high school , attended California State University, Fresno and played for their team, the Bulldogs, successfully college football , for which he was repeatedly awarded and accepted into various selection teams. Between 2011 and 2013 he was able to run 3,031 yards in 26 games and achieve 38 touchdowns .

NFL

Adams decided to participate in the NFL Draft back in 2014 and was selected by the Green Bay Packers in the second round as a 53rd overall. He was able to assert himself immediately with the professionals and establish himself as the third receiver behind Jordy Nelson and Randall Cobb . In his rookie season he ran in all 16 games, eleven times as a starter , with three touchdowns.
2015 was not very successful. He missed three games with an ankle injury and only managed one touchdown.
2016 was his most successful season to date, Adams ran 997 yards and scored 12 touchdowns. In 2017 he was able to maintain his high level and was appointed to the Pro Bowl for the first time . His team honored the consistently good performance and agreed with Adams in December 2017 on a new contract worth 58 million
US dollars .
