Jurrell Casey (* 5. December 1989 in Long Beach , California ) is an American American football poker players. He plays with the Denver Broncos in the National Football League (NFL) on the position of the defensive end .

college

Casey attended the University of Southern California (USC) and successfully played college football for their team, the Trojans, from 2008 to 2010 . He was used in the defensive line as both a right tackle and a nose tackle .

NFL

At the 2011 NFL Draft , he was selected in the 3rd round as a total of 77th by the Tennessee Titans . Already in his rookie year he played in all games and became a starter with his second outing .

In the following seasons he showed consistently good performances, which is why his team tied him in 2014 with a contract for 36 million US dollars with a guaranteed 20.5 million for another four years, making him the highest paid player in the Titans. From 2015 to 2019 he was appointed to the Pro Bowl for his consistently good performance .

In March 2020, the Titans traded him for a pick in the 7th round of the 2020 NFL Draft for the Denver Broncos .
