Brandon Scherff (* 26. December 1991 in Denison , Iowa ) is an American American football poker players on the position of offensive guard . He plays for the Washington Redskins in the National Football League (NFL).
college
Scherff, who showed athletic talent from an early age - he not only played football in various positions in high school , but also basketball and baseball and did athletics - had offers from several universities, but decided on the University of Iowa and played for their team who have favourited Hawkeyes, Successful College Football . He played a total of 43 games, where he held different positions in the offensive line . For his good performance, he was appointed to various selection teams and has received numerous awards, including the prestigious Outland Trophy .
NFL
In the 2015 NFL Draft , he was selected in the first round as the 5th player by the Washington Redskins and was awarded a four-year contract worth $ 21.21 million . Originally intended as a right tackle , it was converted into a right guard during preparation . In this position he was a starter in all games in his rookie year .
In 2016 and 2017 Scherff was appointed to the Pro Bowl . 2018 he suffered in the game against the Atlanta Falcons a crack of a chest muscle and the season had to end prematurely.
