Darius Slay Demetrius (* 1. January 1991 in Brunswick , Georgia ) is an American American football poker players on the position of the cornerbacks . He plays for the Philadelphia Eagles in the National Football League (NFL).

college

Slay first attended Itawamba Community College , but then moved to Mississippi State University and played for their team, the Bulldogs, for two years successfully college football , where he was able to set a total of 64 tackles and achieve six interceptions . He also got two touchdowns .

Slay was selected 36th in the 2013 NFL Draft by the Detroit Lions in the second round. Shortly thereafter, he had meniscal surgery and then signed a four-year contract worth $ 5.28 million . In his rookie season, he was used in thirteen games, four times as a starter , before he had to be placed on the Injured Reserve List due to another meniscus injury .
