Michael Lynn Evans III (* 21st August 1993 in Galveston , Texas ) is an American American football poker players in the National Football League (NFL). He plays for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as a wide receiver .

Evans attended Texas A&M University and played for their team, the Aggies, successful college football , scoring 17 touchdowns in 26 games .
NFL
Evans was selected in the first round of the 2014 NFL Draft as the seventh player by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and was awarded a four-year contract worth $ 14.6 million . He was able to establish himself immediately and catch passes for more than 1,000 yards of space gain in his rookie season . He also succeeded in the following two seasons.
In the 2016 season , he sat during the United States national anthem before the Chicago Bears game to demonstrate against the election of Donald Trump . He originally wished to maintain this behavior, which was linked to the anti-racism protests in the National Football League , at the beginning of each subsequent game, but refrained from doing so and apologized publicly after veterans were offended by his behavior. In week 9 against the New Orleans Saints , he was suspended for one game due to a personal foul against Marshon Lattimore . In the final game of the regular season against the New Orleans Saints Evans was able to catch passes for 55 yards. He had broken the 1,000 yard mark in his fourth season. Only Randy Moss and AJ Green were able to do this before .
2018
In early March 2018, Evans signed a five-year contract valued at $ 82.5 million. 55 million of these are guaranteed.
