reception
Reviews
Burning Sands has so far won over 88 percent of Rotten Tomatoes ' critics . Dennis Harvey of Variety says that the occasionally clumsy or clumsy elements didn't affect the film, whose high spirits, talented cast and terribly fascinating material are consistently entertaining, even if it rarely really comes as a surprise.
The film generally reminded critics of the film Goat , which also tells of a week of hell while being accepted into a fraternity. Brian Tallerico thinks that compared to this film, Gerard McMurray's work is more ambitious, and that he also has interesting racist undertones that Goat did not have and that Trevor Jackson in the central role is an excellent actor.
