Reggie Hudlin

Reginald "Reggie" Alan Hudlin (born December 15, 1961 in Centerville , Illinois , USA ) is an American film director , screenwriter and producer .

Life

Hudlin graduated from Harvard College in 1983 , where he was already working on his first film project, the first version of House Party . He finally staged the long version in 1990. Since 2005 he has increasingly directed television series. Hudlin received his first Oscar nomination in 2013 as a producer for the film Django Unchained , directed by Quentin Tarantino, in the category Best Picture with Stacey Sher and Pilar Savone .

Hudlin has been married to Chrisette Suter since 2002. He is the brother of Warrington Hudlin , who is also in the film business and has also worked as an actor and editor on some of Hudlin's films.
