Give man the circumstances or divorce is sweet ( Serving Sara ) is an American comedy film of Reginald Hudlin from the year 2002 .

action

Joe Tyler works as a deliverer of government documents, including subpoenas and divorce suits. He struggles to present New York City- based Englishwoman Sara Moore with her husband Gordon's lawsuit. His boss, Ray Harris, entrusts his colleague and competitor Tony with the case.

Tyler hands over the papers by pretending to be a gas utility and surprising Sara in a house. Sara learns that the trial will take place in Texas , where Gordon lives. Due to the legal practice there, she could not receive any severance pay. Sara offers Tyler 10% of the expected $ 10 million settlement if he destroys his records and helps her hand Gordon her own divorce suit.

Tyler tells Sara on the way that he used to be a lawyer, but gave up the job when he had to defend a Mafioso. Thereupon he was left by his girlfriend, who is mainly interested in the money. Tyler dreams of building a winery.

Gordon is warned and goes into hiding. His mistress suggests to Tyler that she betray Gordon's refuge in order to contribute to the severance payment. Tyler says this needs to be discussed with Sara. It turns out that Gordon's lover is working with Tony, who hands over the lawsuit.

Tyler discovers that while Tony had a photo taken with his visible wrist watch as evidence, it shows the time using the East Coast time zone . This gives Tyler time to find Gordon and hand over Sara's lawsuit.

In the last scene you can see Tyler and the divorced Sara, who live together on the winery they bought for the severance payment.
