Vincent Pastore
Vincent Pastore (born July 14, 1946 in the Bronx , New York City ) is an American actor of Italian descent. Well known he was in the role of the heavyweight mobster Salvatore "Big Pussy" Bonpensiero on the hit HBO - television series The Sopranos .
Life
Between 1967 and 1987 Pastore owned several nightclubs in New Rochelle , New York . Two of his guests at the time, actors Matt Dillon and Kevin Dillon convinced him to become an actor himself. He got his first roles in films like Martin Scorsese's Good Fellas - Three Decades in the Mafia and Brian De Palma's Carlito’s Way . In total he played in over 70 films and television productions. Pastore also plays in the Off-Broadway Theater.
Vincent Pastore is divorced and has one daughter. He lives on City Island in the Bronx .
