Robert Brinkmann (cameraman)

Robert Brinkmann (born November 20, 1961 in Braunschweig ) is a German cameraman .

Life

Brinkmann immigrated to the United States in 1980 and studied at the University of Southern California from 1981 to 1985 . After graduating from Summa Cum Laude , he and two friends founded his production company Cinescope Productions , which from then on shot and produced music videos, commercials and documentaries. Brinkmann made his debut as a cameraman for a feature film with the film drama Kandyland , which appeared in 1987 and directed by Robert Allen Schnitzer . Since then he has worked as the cinematographer for films like The Cable Guy - The pain in the ass , The Truth About Cats and Kings of Rock - Tenacious D in charge.

On March 4, 2000, Brinkmann married the actress Mena Suvari, who was 17 years his junior . The marriage was divorced in late May 2005.
