Encino Man is an American comedy film from the year 1992 with Brendan Fraser . In 1996, The Model from Prehistoric Times was a sequel directed by Shawn Schepps .

Dave Morgan and Stoney Brown live in California and attend high school . In a pit they find a frozen caveman from the Stone Age, whom they thaw again. They baptize him Linkovic (Link).
Link likes video games and martial arts films, likes to eat dog food and mustard, and likes to drink shampoo and “hot sauce”. He attended high school with Dave and Stoney, where he was introduced as an exchange student from Estonia. Link becomes very popular in school.
At the end of the film, Dave, Stoney and Link find Link's Stone Age girlfriend - who was also frozen. And so the story has a happy ending.
