Brendan Fraser
Brendan James Fraser (born December 3, 1968 in Indianapolis , Indiana ) is an American - Canadian film actor .

Fraser's father worked in the tourism and travel industries in Canada. That's how Brendan got around a lot as a kid. With his three older brothers he spent a long time in the Netherlands , Switzerland , Rome , London and also in various cities in the USA. Even later he did not lose his desire to travel and traveled to many Far Eastern countries.

He studied acting at Upper Canada College in Toronto and graduated from Actor's Conservatory Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle .

He became known for playing the title character in the Tarzan parody George - Who Came from the Jungle and for the role of Richard "Rick" O'Connell , alongside Rachel Weisz and John Hannah , in the adventure film The Mummy (1999). Fraser was married to longtime girlfriend, fellow actor Afton Smith, since September 1998 and has three sons with her. In December 2007, the couple announced the separation. Fraser is a US citizen and Canadian citizen and is fluent in French .
