Dudley Do-Right is an American comedy film from 1999 based on the US animated series The Dudley Do-Right Show (circa 1960) directed by Jay Ward . Directed by Hugh Wilson , who also wrote the script.

action

Dudley Do-Right is a Canadian Mountie . He is in love with Nell Fenwick, whom he has known since childhood. Fenwick returns to her hometown after a few years of absence and study. Do-Right has also known the leader of a criminal organization Snidely Whiplash, against whom he fights, since childhood.

Whiplash spreads rumors of vampires , terrifying Dudley Do-Right. The other local residents are fleeing the city. Whiplash has a prospector disseminate information about gold allegedly found in the locality in the media. This provokes a gold rush, as a result of which numerous immigrants from the USA come to the place taken over by Whiplash.

Do-Right is taught martial arts by the prospector - who is also looking for his missing wife. Do-Right comes, invites Whiplash to an artistic competition and cuts a hedge in the shape of Fenwick with the chainsaw. She goes with Do-Right and watches as the policeman appears on a show by the neighboring Indian tribe.

Whiplash and his men attack the Indian tribe, who defend themselves first with flares and then with stones. Do-Right rides his horse towards two of the villain's tanks, which shoot the policeman and ultimately destroy each other. An arrived division of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police arrests Whiplash and his people. It turns out that she was found by the prospector's wife, who turns out to be the country's prime minister. Do-Right and Fenwick get married.
