Tarlabaşı ( Kurdish : Qotel, former name: Rumevleri) is a small village in Turkey with about 100 inhabitants in the Araban district , Gaziantep province .

The village is inhabited by the descendants of Xalil, the grandson of Bakasor, who came to Tarlabaşı to serve the Aga (landowners) with his sons. There are Greek quarries, crypts, foundations of a former Armenian church and a tombstone with a Greek inscription to visit . Horticulture ( pistachios , grapes , honeydew melons ) is the main activity in the village .
