Robin Tunney
Robin Tunney (born June 19, 1972 in Chicago , Illinois ) is an American actress of Irish descent, best known for her roles as Christine York in the film End of Days and Teresa Lisbon in the television series The Mentalist .
life and career
Robin Tunney studied acting at the Chicago Academy for the Performing Arts . When she was 18, she moved to Los Angeles .
Tunney starred in several television series such as Law & Order , Dream On and Alles Okay, Corky? . Her breakthrough in Germany came in 1996 with the film Der Hexenclub , in which she played on the side of Fairuza Balk , Neve Campbell and Rachel True . In 1999 she was seen in End of Days with Arnold Schwarzenegger and Gabriel Byrne . In 2000 she took on one of the leading roles in the feature film Vertical Limit . In 2001 Tunney played another supporting role in Investigating Sex with Neve Campbell, Til Schweiger and Nick Nolte . In 2004 she took over in the pilot episode of the US series Dr. House the role of a patient. In 2005 and 2006 she appeared in the first two seasons of the hit US series Prison Break as a lawyer Veronica Donovan on. In the 2006 film The Hollywood Conspiracy , she played the fiancée of George Reeves . From 2008 to 2015 she was in the crime series The Mentalist as chief investigator Teresa Lisbon .
In 1997 Tunney married the producer Bob Gosse , they separated in 2002. In 2009 Tunney got engaged to the Australian director and screenwriter Andrew Dominik . At Christmas 2012 she got engaged to interior designer Nicky Marmet. Their son was born on June 23, 2016. Tunney had a daughter on January 8, 2020.
