action

The CIA agent Steve Tobias has to manage his son's wedding and a CIA assignment at the same time. When the FBI intervenes and the unsuspecting father of the bride is involved, the chaos is complete. Furthermore, the story culminates in the fact that Steve stuns the bride's father, who also suffers from an insane fear of flying, with a "roofi". The bride's father wakes up high above the clouds on the way to France on board Barbra Streisand's Gulfstream 5, which Steve borrowed for the trip. While Steve is preparing an omelette in the galley, the panicked bride's father takes refuge in the toilet. After Steve Tobias has succeeded several times in evading the alleged arrest of the FBI, the CIA agent dissolves the secret of his turbulent actions and the marriage of his son can finally take place.

Reviews

"Largely entertaining, rather infantile agent film for adults, which disguises its slowness and some silly derailment by a well-disposed cast of actors."

“What was intended as a turbulent comedy is less convincing because of the confused and completely implausible story than because of the actors. Albert Brooks and Michael Douglas in particular are able to save at least a bit of the over-the-top slapstick. "

background

The film is a remake of the 1979 film Two in Devil's Kitchen starring Alan Arkin and Peter Falk . The film was in Chicago , in Toronto and in Cambridge ( Ontario turned). It grossed approximately $ 20.4 million in US cinemas .
