Stacey Sher

Stacey M. Sher (born April 1, 1963 in New York City ) is an American film producer .

Life

After completing her Masters at the USC School of Cinema-Television through USC's Peter Stark Graduate Program , Stacey Sher was employed in the development department of Hill / Obst Productions . After two years she became Vice President of Production and in 1991 Senior Vice President of Lynda Obst Productions . Together with Danny DeVito and Michael Shamberg , she produced films such as Snap Shorty , Matilda and Der Mondmann from 1995 onwards . With the drama Erin Brockovich , she was given an Oscar nomination for Best Picture .
