Pilar Savone

Pilar Savone (born June 16, 1971 ) is an Oscar- nominated film producer and second unit director who mainly works on Quentin Tarantino's films .

Life

After initially directing the second camera team, Savone worked as Quentin Tarantino's personal assistant in films such as Kill Bill - Volume 1 and Planet Terror . Eventually she was promoted from this to chief producer for films like Django Unchained , for which she was nominated for an Oscar for best picture in 2013.

Savone is the daughter of Umberto Savone , who plays himself as a salon owner in Beverly Hills in the television series Advanced English: Interviews with the Famous .
