Reviews

Roger Ebert compared the film in the Chicago Sun-Times of May 3, 1996 with a runner who leads to the beginning of the race and then fades away. It begins well as a "malicious satire on professional boxing", then it loses energy and ends abruptly. The premise and the representations deserve better.

Cinema magazine rated the comedy "weak".
