Tony Hendra
Tony Hendra (* 1941 in Hertfordshire ) is an English satirist and author who works mainly in the USA . He was one of the founders of National Lampoon magazine in 1970 . One of his daughters is the writer Jessica Hendra .
Life
Hendra attended Cambridge University , where he was involved in the Footlights theater club , which at the time also included John Cleese . After completing his studies, he moved to the USA, where he worked as a writer and actor. He appeared in the series Miami Vice and Law & Order as well as in the films This Is Spinal Tap and Jumpin 'Jack Flash, among others. As a screenwriter, for example, he was involved in the comedy film Great White Hype - Eine KOMödie (1996).
