Salli Richardson
Salli Elise Richardson-Whitfield (born November 23, 1967 in Chicago , Illinois as Salli Elise Richardson ) is an American actress and director.
Private life
The mother of the actress is of African American-Indian descent, the ancestors of her father , who works at the University of Chicago , came from Italy and Ireland. Richardson grew up in Chicago, where she appeared in a theater.
Richardson has been married to actor Dondre Whitfield since 2002 . She lives in Los Angeles with him and their daughter, Parker Richardson Whitfield .

Movie
Her first film role she played in the drama Up Against the Wall from 1991. In the western Posse - The Revenge of Jessie Lee (1993) she was seen on the side of Mario van Peebles , Stephen Baldwin and Billy Zane . In the thriller Sioux City - Amulet of Vengeance (1994) she played one of the bigger roles alongside Lou Diamond Phillips . In the comedy I Spy Returns (1994), she played alongside the leading actors Bill Cosby and Robert Culp an agent in the field. She also played a bigger role - alongside Keenen Ivory Wayans and Jada Pinkett Smith - in the action comedy A Low Down Dirty Shame from the same year.
In the television drama True Women (1997), Richardson appeared on the side of Annabeth Gish , Angelina Jolie and Rachael Leigh Cook . In the drama Antwone Fisher (2002) she played alongside Denzel Washington and Derek Luke . In the SF film drama I Am Legend (2007) she took on a larger role on the side of Will Smith . In 2010 she played in I Will Follow and in 2012 in We the Party .
