Annabeth Gish (* 13. March 1971 in Albuquerque , New Mexico as Anne Elizabeth Gish ) is an American actress .

Life

Annabeth Gish is a daughter of the professor of English studies Robert Gish and the teacher Judy Gish. At the age of two, she moved to Cedar Falls, Iowa , where she grew up. She studied English at Duke University from 1989 to 1993 .

In 1988, Gish played alongside Julia Roberts in the movie Pizza Pizza - A slice of heaven , what they are for the film award Young Artist Award was nominated. In 1994 she was part of the star-cast cast of Wyatt Earp - The Life of a Legend around Kevin Costner . In the sequel to Gone with the Wind , the television miniseries Scarlett (1994), she played Anne Butler . In Oliver Stone's Nixon - Biopic (1995) she portrayed Julie Nixon Eisenhower . After several television films and supporting roles in movies such as Doppelmord (1999), she was part of the cast of the X-Files from 2001 last year .

Since 2003 she has appeared in six episodes of The West Wing , most recently in the miniseries Desperation , for which Stephen King wrote the script based on his own template.

Gish has been married to stuntman Wade Allen since 2003 . Their first son was born on January 12, 2007. She lives in Beverly Hills . The second son Enzo Edward Allen was born on October 25, 2008.
