Rudi Sehring
Rudi Sehring (born June 13, 1930 in Langen (Hessen) ) is a German jazz drummer.
Live and act
Sehring became a member of the Joe Klimm Combo in 1949. In 1953 he switched to the Hans Koller quintet with Albert Mangelsdorff , played with Stan Getz , Lars Gullin , Lee Konitz , Zoot Sims and Bill Russo in the mid-1950s and had his own trio with Attila Zoller and bassist Johnny Fischer ( Rhythm and Something More , Mod Records 1956). As a member of the Frankfurt All Stars Albert Mangelsdorff brought him to the " Jazz Ensemble des Hessischer Rundfunk " in 1957 (where he was involved in the recording of Die Opa Hirchleitner Story -LP in 1958 ). In 1960 he became a member of the Hessischer Rundfunk dance and entertainment orchestra .
Sehring now lives with his wife in Aurich, Lower Saxony .
