Keenan Allen Alexander (* 27. April 1992 in Greensboro , North Carolina ) is an American American football poker players on the position of wide receiver . He plays for the Los Angeles Chargers in the National Football League (NFL).

Career

college

Allen attended the University of California, Berkeley from 2010 to 2012 and only played there for two years for the football team. He caught a total of 205 passes at 2,570 yards and 25 touchdowns .

2013

Allen was selected as the 76th pick overall by the San Diego Chargers in the third round of the NFL Draft . After a mixed start, he finished the 2013 season as a rookie with the most passes (71) and 1,046 yards . He also beat the previous rookie record of the San Diego Chargers, which was 1,001 yards. Allen was named Pepsi Rookie of the Week four times and won the NFL Pepsi Rookie of the Year title at the end of the season .

2014

In the 2014 season Allen was able to confirm his strong rookie year and ended the 2014 season with 77 passes at 783 yards and 4 touchdowns . On Matchday 4 against the Jacksonville Jaguars he made 135 yards with 10 pass catches and statistically had his best game of his NFL career to date.

2015

On the first day of the 2015 season he broke his personal NFL record and made 166 yards with 15 pass catches against the Detroit Lions .

Due to a kidney injury, Allen had to end the 2015 season early on November 3rd . At the time of his injury, he was the player with the most passes of the season in the American Football Conference (AFC) .

2016

Prior to the 2016 season , Allen signed a new four-year contract for $ 44 million with the San Diego Chargers, with an annual pledge of $ 11 million. At the season opener against the Kansas City Chiefs Allen was seriously injured and was therefore put on the Injured Reserve List by his team . He was out of the 2016 season.

2017

In the season 2017 all showed an outstanding performance and was his good rookie season even topped. He managed 1,393 yards and 6 touchdowns on 102 balls caught.
