Grady Jarrett (* 28. April 1993 in Conyers , Georgia ) is an American American football poker players on the position of the defensive tackles . He plays for the Atlanta Falcons in the National Football League (NFL).

Early years

Jarrett attended high school in the city of Conyers, Georgia, USA. He later went to Clemson University between 2011 and 2014 .

NFL

Jarrett was selected 137th place by the Atlanta Falcons in the fifth round of the 2015 NFL Draft . He recorded his first sack on matchday 13 of the 2015 season against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers . After the 2016 season he reached the Super Bowl LI with the Falcons , which, however, was lost at 28:34. In that game he scored 3.0 sacks against Tom Brady . After the 2019 season , Jarrett was elected to the Pro Bowl for the first time .

Personal

His father Jessie Tuggle was also a football player with the Atlanta Falcons. There he played as a linebacker from 1987 to 2000 . The day Jarrett was selected in the NFL Draft, his house burned down. There were about 40 friends and family present at the time. Nobody was injured.
