Joseph Walter Haden III (* 14. April 1989 in Fort Washington , Maryland ) is an American American football poker players in the National Football League (NFL). He plays for the Pittsburgh Steelers as a cornerback .

college

Haden were offered sports scholarships from several universities. He chose the University of Florida and played college football for their team, the Gators, from 2007 to 2009 . He was able to win two titles with the team and was nominated for various selections.

NFL

Cleveland Browns

In the 2010 NFL Draft , he was elected 7th overall by the Cleveland Browns in the 1st round and received a well-paid five-year contract. He was initially used as a nickelback , later as a starting cornerback.

In 2012, after testing positive for amphetamine , he received a four-game suspension.

In 2013 and 2014 he was appointed to the Pro Bowl .

On August 30, 2017, he was released by the Cleveland Browns .

Pittsburgh Steelers

On the day of his release with the Browns Haden signed a three-year contract with the Pittsburgh Steelers , the 27 million him dollars brings.
With his new team, too, Haden showed consistently good performances and was able to improve every season. In 2019 he made about 17 pass defenses and five interceptions.
