Tyreek Hill (* 1. March 1994 in Lauderhill , Florida ) is an American American football poker players on the position of wide receiver . He plays for the Kansas City Chiefs in the National Football League (NFL) and is also used as a return specialist in the special teams . With the Chiefs he won the Super Bowl LIV .
college
Garden City Community College
Hill began his undergraduate career at Garden City Community College in Kansas in 2013 . There he was a sprinter and already played American football. He ran 659 yards and made five touchdowns on 32 passes caught for 532 yards.
Oklahoma State University
Hill moved to Oklahoma State University in 2014 , where he impressed as a solid return specialist and running back . He managed a total of 534 yards run and 381 caught yards with one touchdown each. On the returns he made a combined 996 yards.
In his last game for Oklahoma State, he ran a 92-yard punt return to touchdown and helped his team win. However, during this time he was also found guilty of strangling his girlfriend, who was pregnant at the time. His probation ran until August 2018.
University of West Alabama
In his senior year of college (2015), Hill played football at the University of West Alabama . There he ran 237 yards with a touchdown and caught 27 balls for 444 yards and three touchdowns. His combined 722 return yards and four return touchdowns were really impressive again.
NFL
Hill was selected 165th overall by the Kansas City Chiefs in the 5th round of the 2016 NFL Draft .
His rookie season has been repeatedly troubled by the domestic violence incident. Now that he was in the limelight, the media took a renewed interest. Hill was able to defy the media unrest and played an outstanding first professional season. At the end of the season he was even directly elected to the Pro Bowl and the All-Pro team .
Since Hill was repeatedly used as a running back and as a wide receiver in his college teams , the Chiefs also took advantage of this by using him in a variety of ways in both running and passing plays . He was also directly the best return specialist with the most punt return yards (592 yards) of the 2016 NFL season .
