Eric William Fisher (* 5. January 1991 in Rochester , Michigan ) is an American American football poker players on the position of offensive tackles . He plays for the Kansas City Chiefs in the National Football League (NFL) and won Super Bowl LIV with them .

Career

Fisher played college football at Central Michigan University . The Kansas City Chiefs selected him as the first player in the 2013 NFL Draft . This makes him the only player at his college to date to be the first to be drafted. At the end of July, the Chiefs signed the offensive tackle for around 22 million US dollars . Despite playing on the left side in college, he ran right tackle in his rookie season, playing 14 out of 16 games. After he didn't convince in this position, head coach Andy Reid let him play on the left again in 2014, where he was on the starting line-up in all 16 games of the season.

Due to his convincing performance, the Chiefs awarded him a new four-year contract worth $ 48 million on July 30, 2016, of which 40 million were guaranteed. He rose to one of the highest paid offensive linemen in the NFL at this point .
