Dustin Colquitt Farr (* 6. May 1982 in Knoxville , Tennessee ) is an American American football poker players on the position of the punters . He plays for the Kansas City Chiefs in the National Football League (NFL).

Early years

Colquitt went to high school in his native Knoxville, Tennessee, where he played soccer as well as American football. He later went to the University of Tennessee .

NFL

Dustin Colquitt was selected in the third round of the 2005 NFL Draft in 99th place by the Kansas City Chiefs . In his first year he was designated as the starting punter. In 2012 he was elected to the Pro Bowl for the first time . During this season he also set his personal record for space gain per punt (46.8 yards ). On March 5, 2013, Colquitt signed a five-year $ 18.75 million ($ 8.9 million guaranteed) deal with the Chiefs, making him the NFL's highest paid punter. After the 2019 season , he reached Super Bowl LIV with the Chiefs .

Personal

Colquitt comes from a family that has produced many punters in the NFL. His father Craig Colquitt won the Super Bowl twice with the Pittsburgh Steelers , his younger brother Britton Colquitt is a punter with the Minnesota Vikings , and his uncle Jimmy Colquitt was also a one-season punter with the Seattle Seahawks in 1985 .
