Britton Colquitt (* 20th March 1986 in Knoxville , Tennessee ) is an American American football poker players on the position of the punters . He plays for the Minnesota Vikings in the National Football League (NFL). He won Super Bowl 50 with the Denver Broncos .
Early years
Colquitt went to high school in his native Knoxville, Tennessee, where he played soccer as well as American football. He later went to the University of Tennessee .
NFL
Denver Broncos
On December 22, 2009, Colquitt, not considered in the 2009 NFL Draft, signed a contract for the Practice Squad with the Miami Dolphins . On December 30 of the same year Colquitt was brought into the roster of the Denver Broncos . With the Denver Broncos, he reached in the 2015 season to the Super Bowl 50 , which with 24:10 against the Carolina Panthers was recovered.
Cleveland Browns
After Colquitt was fired from the Broncos on August 30, 2016, he signed a one-year contract with the Cleveland Browns shortly thereafter .
Minnesota Vikings
After Colquitt was fired before the start of the 2019 season, the Minnesota Vikings signed him.
Personal
Colquitt comes from a family that has produced many punters in the NFL. His father Craig Colquitt won the Super Bowl twice with the Pittsburgh Steelers , his older brother Dustin Colquitt is a punter with the Kansas City Chiefs and his uncle Jimmy Colquitt was a one-season punter with the Seattle Seahawks in 1985 .
