Emmanuel Sanders Niamiah (* 17th March 1987 in Bellville , Texas ) is an American American football poker players on the position of wide receiver . He has played for the New Orleans Saints in the NFL since the 2020 season . He previously played with the Pittsburgh Steelers , Denver Broncos and the San Francisco 49ers . With the Broncos he won the Super Bowl 50 .
High school
Sanders went to high school in his native Bellville. In addition to American football, he also played baseball and basketball here . On the high school football team, he was used in several positions: wide receiver, running back and safety .

NFL
Pittsburgh Steelers
In the 2010 NFL Draft, Sanders was selected in the third round in 82nd place by the Pittsburgh Steelers . In his first season he was only fourth force in the position of wide receiver with the Steelers. In the regular season he caught 28 passes for 276 yards and scored two touchdowns . He reached the Super Bowl XLV that season with the Steelers , which was lost to the Green Bay Packers at 25:31 . Sanders caught two passes for 17 yards in this game, but had to end the game prematurely due to a foot injury. In his second season he was able to integrate better into the team and, together with Antonio Brown and Mike Wallace, played a key role in ensuring that Pittsburgh reached the play-offs . However, this was already over in the wildcard round. They lost in overtime with 23:29 against the Denver Broncos . On the 7th day of the 2012 season against the Cincinnati Bengals , Sanders was charged with faking an injury to stop playing time. He was sentenced to a $ 15,000 fine. The Pittsburgh Steelers were fined $ 35,000. It was the first time in NFL history that a player had been sued for a sham injury. After the season, the New England Patriots were interested in Sanders, but Pittsburgh did not agree to a move.
Denver Broncos
For the 2014 season, Sanders moved to the Denver Broncos. He signed a three-year contract. In his first game for the Broncos, he caught six passes for 77 yards, his first touchdown on October 19, 2014 against the San Francisco 49ers for the Broncos. Sanders ended the season with personal career records in passing catches (101), yards (1,404) and touchdowns (9). In 2015 he won the American Football Conference Championship with the Broncos and then even the Super Bowl 50 against the Carolina Panthers with 24-10.
San Francisco 49ers
The Denver Broncos traded the wide receiver to the San Francisco 49ers on October 22, 2019. San Francisco is sending a third and a fourth round pick to Denver in the 2020 draft. In addition to Sanders, the 49ers also received a 2020 five-round pick from the Broncos.
New Orleans Saints
On March 20, 2020, Sanders signed a two-year deal with the New Orleans Saints .
