Danny Trevathan (* 24. March 1990 in Youngstown , Ohio ) is an American American football poker players on the position of Inside linebackers . He plays for the Chicago Bears in the National Football League (NFL). Trevathan won with the Denver Broncos to Super Bowl 50 .

college

Trevathan went to the University of Kentucky . In his senior year of college, he made 144 tackles .

NFL

After Trevathan had already signed up for the 2011 NFL Draft , but decided to stay in college for another year, he was selected in the sixth round of the 2012 NFL Draft in 188th place by the Denver Broncos . In his first season, he scored 33 tackles . In his second season it was 129. Due to an injury to his knee, he missed several games in the 2014 season and was only used three times this season. In 2015 he found his way back to his old strength and scored 109 tackles in 15 games this season. He was with the Broncos champions of the American Football Conference (AFC) and they reached the Super Bowl 50 , which they won with 24:10 against the Carolina Panthers .

For the 2016 season, Trevathan moved to the Chicago Bears .
