Chad Henne (* 2. July 1985 in Wyomissing , Pennsylvania ) is an American American football poker players at the position of quarterback . He plays for the Kansas City Chiefs in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Michigan Wolverines from 2004 to 2007 .

In the 2008 NFL Draft, Henne was selected by the Miami Dolphins in the second round. From the 2008 season he was under contract with this team. From September 2009 he took over the role of starting quarterback after Chad Pennington was injured for the rest of the season. As the left tackle , the Dolphins drafted Jake Long in the first round of the 2008 NFL Draft, who had already acted as the left tackle for Chad Henne for the Wolverines.

On the first day of the 2011 season, Henne threw for the first time in his career for more than 400 yards. His counterpart Tom Brady of the New England Patriots threw 517 yards in the same game - also a personal best and a new record for the Patriots. With a total of 933 yards, the two set an NFL record.
